ASUU Strike Is Not An Excuse If You Fail – How To Recover From ASUU Strike and aid your academic life;

It’s  no more a rumour about the suspension of  the ASUU Strike on Monday, September 18.

According to ASUU SEPTEMBER 18TH 2017; ASUU said it was suspending the strike till October for the federal government to fulfill its pledges, ASUU also ordered lecturers to resume duty from Tuesday, September 19th.

A memorandum of understanding was signed with the federal government delegation at the meeting.
However mixed reactions  filled the Social Media  as majority  of the students wanted the strike to continue. This was unexpected and it took most people especially parents of these students by Surprise. Statistical Reports of these reactions produced a 53 – 47 Percent of Students voting for the continuation of the strike.
When asked the reasons for these decisions it was discovered that most  of these Students were mainly scared of returning to  School due to their inability to Cover up what they’ve been Taught In their Respective schools.

In order to help Foster these various Students Confidence here are few Advice and Tips to help you get back on your  Studies;

° KNOW  YOUR STYLE OF READING AND ASSIMILATION
Most Students often copy most of  Their Pairs,  especially where the mentality of Reading for long hours is the best.
However research shows that the brain of each individual Differ in terms of speed of assimilation.  Be able to understand the kind of person you are. Are you the kind that can only read for 2 hours ?  Or maybe  3 hours . Can you only read when everywhere is quiet ?  Are you better at reading when you have music in your ears?  Learn to understand yourself is the first  Goal  to achieving success in your Academic Life.

° AVOID DISTRACTIONS OF ANY KIND
Distractions can come in any form,  the most common distractions found in the Educational System nowadays is the Use of Mobile phones  and Social media.
Be able to put that aside and focus on your goal if it will take you to switch off the phone for you to avoid it,  Kindly Do so.
When you switch off your gadgets and it helped you read for just 2 hours, you’ve gained something that day.
Also as a student you have different friends of different backgrounds and lifestyle. Know the kind of people you move with as and old saying goes  ” show me your friends and how will tell you who you are”.  Their is no way you can associate yourself with Party freaks, smokers, prostitutes and other illegal things and also mix it with your Education and expect a positive result from your academic life.

° STOP PROCRASTINATING
This is common to most individuals,  but as a student you are expected to have a scale of preference that details your day to day activities and avoids any form of procrastinating your main objectives.
In a situation where you have to pick between reading your books and doing a midnight plan.?  Dear readers  their will be a lot of Night plans for you to do. Kindly stick to reading your books  and when you’re done with that other valuable things can follow.
Furthermore,  Procrastination can deal a Major blow to your Educational Life as most students nowadays find themselves unable to attain their desired goal and the unlucky ones result to an Extra  Year in school which sometimes demoralize their Moral and Social well being, Self Esteem and Self  Value. While others who can’t cope Later Drop out due to the fact of not doing the right thing at the right time.

On a Final Note Learn to be Hardworking and try as much as possible to be focused  and also don’t forget to Pray.

Download Real University of Ibadan Post UTME Practice questions and things you need to know

First of all, we will like to clear the air about the University of Ibadan Post UTME past questions.  U.I does not release its post UTME questions to students after the exam and hence it doesn't have any real/official Post-UTME past questions . Our Research has shown that some persons/platforms post things like "University of Ibadan Post UTME past questions since 2010, some since 2008 etc, while some even sell it for fee around #1000. We advise all U.I aspirants to desist from all of that as it is just a mere business tactics. We are not saying they are not past questions, but they are not University of Ibadan Past questions, which may be dangerous for your preparation. The only thing University of Ibadan has is the officially released Post UTME   Practice questions , which was released for 2015/2016 Jambites on the official school website as at that year. We have helped you retrieve some of them, which can be downloaded below. As we all know there was no Post UTME last year

Latest UI 2017/2018 Admissons- University of Ibadan takes its stand on announced Jamb Cut off mark

On the Recently Announced cut off Marks of 120 for University Admission: our position in UI: By Sunday Saanu - Media Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan      The Management of the University of Ibadan wishes to inform the public about the recently announced cut off marks of 120 for University Admission that UI will not lower her standards.      A statement from the Vice Chancellor's office indicates that the Nigeria's premier university still maintains her position  in academic excellence and standards in order to continue to aspire towards becoming a world-class university.      It should worry us as patriots that candidates who scored just 30% in UTME can be admitted into some of our universities. Yet, we complain of poor quality of our graduates. You can hardly build something on nothing. The consolation here is that since JAMB started conducting this qualifying exam in 1978, UI has never admitted any candidate who scored less than 200 marks out of
